Is Girls' Generation planning a big comeback this 2017? That's the question on fans' mind, and Sooyoung just teased new information that hints at a potential comeback for the group.

Sooyoung was recently spotted in Spain where she did a photo shoot with Bimba Y Lola for the March 2017 edition of InStyle magazine. Bimba Y Lola is one of the clothing brands to watch in Spain this year.

Although Sooyoung's birthday isn't until Feb. 10, fans did not pass up the opportunity to celebrate with her. The singer's Spanish fans gifted her with a chocolate, which Sooyoung took a photograph of and shared on Instagram.

The fans also asked Sooyoung to make a wish before she blew out her candles, to which she replied "World tour in Europe." According to Koreaboo, one fan also noted that Sooyoung mentioned that Girls' Generation would stage a comeback in the second half of 2017.

SM Entertainment has been relatively quiet about its plans for Girls' Generation this year, but the group's members have been dropping hints during several instances.

On the Chuseok special broadcast of "Weekly Idol," Heechul asked Taeyeon about the rumored Girls' Generation album. Taeyeon simply replied that they are continuously preparing and that they are "waiting for a good timing to show it," SBS reported. When asked if the album will be out in six months, YoonA answered that they aren't so sure.

2017 marks Girls' Generation's 10th anniversary since their debut. It's likely that the members are working hard to create quality music that will exceed expectations. After all, Sooyoung said in a previous interview that she hopes the group will win a grand prize (daesang) this year.

In the meantime, two Girls' Generation members will reportedly release albums in the first half of the year, namely Seohyun and Hyoyeon.
