Actress Mischa Barton figured in a disturbing footage of her ranting incoherently after she was allegedly drugged at a party in Los Angeles.

Officers responded to multiple calls last week about a disturbance coming from Barton's apartment in West Hollywood. Sources told TMZ that "The O.C." alum was hanging over her backyard fence and speaking incoherently. The incident took place early in the morning at 7:15 a.m. At one point in the video, Barton is heard claiming that her mother is a witch.

However, officers checked on Barton claimed that the actress was speaking coherently and willingly went to the hospital thereafter. It was reported that the 31-year-old actress was transported to the hospital for mental evaluation.

According to PEOPLE, Barton claimed that her episode resulted from having a drink that was allegedly spiked with GHB, a notorious date rape drug. At that time, she went out with a group of friends.

"While having drinks, I realized that something was not right as my behavior was becoming erratic and continued to intensify over the next several hours," the actress shared. It was after she sought medical help that she found out that she had been given GHB.

Barton thanked the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for taking care of her. She also reminded young women to be aware of their surroundings so as not to be a victim of rape drugs.

In 2009, Barton was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold after she suffered a "full-on breakdown." At the hospital, Barton reportedly grew distraught and attempted to leave, and even threatened to commit suicide. She was later admitted to the psych award under California's 5150 hold, a law which allows a psychiatrist to involuntarily confine a person who is deemed to have a mental disorder that makes them a danger to themselves and society. This is the same law that forced Britney Spears and Amanda Bynes to seek mental health treatment.
