I/O Interactive has just revealed the details of the upcoming "Hitman" updates. The "Hitman" January update will feature a massive update to the game, including the all new harder difficulty level.

I/O Interactive will be releasing another free "Hitman" update with cool stuffs added and is set to drop this January 31st. The January update will come along with the game's physical copy.

The Professional Difficulty level is now added as the I/O Interactive announced. This means players will not have a more realistic style of the game since the AI behavior are enhanced. Not only that, AI awareness, item rule restriction and security camera logic have been increased. Make sure to plan every move since the combat will be more lethal and you will no longer have unlimited save option. However, completing the mission will earn players a unique mastery reward.

WCCF Tech also confirmed that the "Hitman" January update will add the HDR support along with the first person view. It has been announced as well that some in-game bug fixes are included in the update with some tweaked game mechanics.

The Game Reactor reported that the Professional Difficulty can be selected for all story missions in the "Hitman" Season 1. The new difficulty is not a default option, the Professional Difficulty needs to be unlocked by reaching Mastery Level 20 for each location.

With this, it means clearing each of the missions with level 20 Mastery is the only way to unlock the Professional Difficulty to a certain completed location. By default, players will need to complete the mission using the normal difficulty level.

Keep in mind that the "Hitman" Professional Difficulty level will test your skills in every aspect of the game. Planning every move is an essential along with some quick and stealthy tactics.

This latest "Hitman" game was released last March 11th of 2016, the game was divided into 6 episodes with the final release on October 31st last year. The game still has the greatest modern day assassin, Agent 47, equipped with some new weapons along with his trademark, the twin Silver Baller.

"Hitman" released a special Christmas DLC entitled The Holiday Hoarders. It is a special DLC where the enemies are taken from the villains of the Home Alone movie. Harry "Smokey" Bagnato and Marv "Slick" Gonif appears on the game as they are being hunted by Agent 47, since the two have fled the US and eventually went to different places.
