Samsung Galaxy S8 is nearing its rumored release - late March or early April of this year - but prior to that, here are some spoilers and expectations that tech savvies out there might be interested in checking.
There are rumors saying that the Galaxy S8 will be released on April 15 in New York, deviating from the company's usual launching at Mobile World Congress tradeshow in Barcelona, Spain, which will be held on Feb. 27 to March 2.
Furthermore, in the most recent report, it is claimed that the photos of Samsung Galaxy S8 shows that there is a possibility of having a dual camera set up. In the leaked photos, a wider hole at the back portion is noticeable which is more likely where the two cameras will be fit in. Moreover, it seems that Samsung will totally abandon the use of home buttons since they will have a purely touchscreen front. Accordingly, it will also adopt a pressure sensitive screen like iPhone 6S. Citing Fone Arena, reports also suggest that Samsung is contemplating on incorporating stereo speakers on its phone.
Previously, there were also speculations which suggest that a variation of Galaxy S8 will also be released-Galaxy S8 Plus. Aside from the rumored difference on dimensions between the two wherein S8 Plus will come with a 6.2- inch display while S8 will only be 5.7 inch, there is not much to say about the Galaxy S8 Plus yet.
Meanwhile, another report says that Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a beefed-up virtual assistant. Rumors have it that the Korean tech giant will equip their S8 with special hardware key for new AI assistant. In fact, the source, citing Sammobile, suggests that the new digital voice assistant is named Bixby.
Samsung will most likely have its fans surprised upon its release as they remain silent despite all the rumors.
