Gamers can be artists too, especially when given the right amount of passion and software to do so. Sometimes these enthusiasts have the capability to create fan games, which is the case of YouTube user Rod Lima when he had the chance to create a first person shooter experience for the first "Resident Evil" game - a nod to the recently released "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard."

The YouTube video was first discovered by NeoGAF user Plumpbiscuit as he shared Rod Lima's second video that continued where the first video left off. The video follows the first person perspective of Jill Valentine as she trudges along the creepy hallways of the Spencer Mansion. Along her journey she unloads lead into the heads of the infected shambling zombies along with her partners Barry Burton and Albert Wesker (who was still a good guy at the time). Here's the new video:

According to the NeoGAF user, Rod Lima was able to find a way "to extract the models and animation data from [Resident Evil Remake] and into Blender. He has made the game, and cutscenes, entirely in first person view." The YouTuber was also able to write the script of the scene and turn it into a first person shooter game.

The new video's description labels it as a "quick gameplay test" continuing where the first video left off, as Jill was about to leave the dining room to have her first zombie encounter. Check out the first video below:

Rod Lima still plans on improving the fan-made game, adding proper sound effects and fix the weapon animations. There still hasn't been any confirmation, however, if this project will turn out to be playable eventually.

In the meantime, Gamespot gave the recently released "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" a good score of 8 out of 10. While some parts of the game had some dragging moments, "Resident Evil 7's house of horrors recaptures the tension that first made the series a household name."

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is available now for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
