It was already leaked that a new "Overwatch" event suggests new skins. Now this new event, a Chinese New Year themed one, will be introducing a new mode in the game: Capture the Flag.

The earlier leaks came from via Reddit user hythl0day, showing off the new look for Winston, Reinhardt, Zenyatta, and Roadhog. They seem to be dressed as the characters from the famous Chinese novel "Journey to the West."  Other than that Mei seems to have the traditional Red Chinese outfit, while D.Va's getting one as well, according to Gamespot.

This was further confirmed last week when Blizzard already announced the Year of the Rooster event for Jan. 24. Other than the studio celebrating the Chinese New Year, another leak from Chinese social media site Weibo showed the new mode that is more or less Capture the Flag (thanks to Reddit user tf2manu994)

According to Polygon, the Chinese New Year Event is quite similar to in scope to previous game events, such as Halloween Terror (for Halloween, of course) and Winter Wonderland (Christmas). Along with new skins, these limited time events included new sprays, voice lines, emotes and numerous cosmetic items, as well as new levels. The previous events included new gameplay modes such as like Junkenstein's Revenge and Mei's Snowball Offensive respectively.

While the Chinese Year of the Rooster event for "Overwatch" is set on releasing this month, another upcoming event for the month of February might be released as well. Rumors say that it could be possibly be a Valentines themed event... maybe.

In other news, Blizzard has recently tweaked its gameplay mechanics for D.Va  saying "her damage per shot is generally more consistent [now]." Other reports include the game's director is set to announce the development of "Overwatch" soon.

Any more news on the "Overwatch" events we'll be sure keep up to date.
