"I Am Setsuna," Square Enix's charming, old-school style RPG released last year for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Windows PC last July is getting a re-release for the Nintendo Switch. In addition to that, the game is getting a new feature for this version that will excite fans of the new console.
According to Polygon, a short press release was issued today by Square Enix, announcing the game's release on the Nintendo Switch. Although the announcement was light on the details of the"I Am Setsuna," one thing it made mention of was the new game modes it featured. "It will be available as a digital day one launch title," the announcement said during the press release. "And will include exclusive new features such as the 'Temporal Battle Arena,' where players can enjoy thrilling battles against other players' parties."
The Nintendo Switch game would be a more definitive version of "I Am Setsuna," reports WWG. Besides the beautiful visuals, players would take their consoles and play the game wherever they choose. The addition of the "Temporal Battle Arena" will allow them to try out PVP modes, offering them a new level of depth and more replay value that game didn't have before. Players will have even more reason to grind and level up their party, as well as gathering the right gear and balancing their skills the proper way. More details on the how leaderboards or PvP rewards might work will follow.
Those who aren't really familiar with the story of "I Am Setsuna," you take the role of a hero who accompanies Setsuna, a young woman of great power, as she leaves her village by undergoing a sacrifice that would save her people.
