Dragon Ball Super is featuring its first Super Saiyan woman and definitely resembles the female adaptation of Broly which is a male Super Saiyan.

According to a YouTube user named Geekdom 101, the Super Saiyan woman might not be the actual Broly but a tribute to him or it could be another Broly from a different universe. It seems that it would be the initial Super Saiyan woman in the manga and anime.

As clarified by Dragon Ball Wikia, there are already female Super Saiyans in the video game but none have shown in the anime or manga. This could also mean to include Broly or the Broly-type character in Dragon Ball cannon as the character is not looked upon as canon, according to Kotaku.

Recently, "Dragon Ball Super" launched its 'Universal Survival' saga filled with action and excitement. Favorite fighters include Goku, Vegeta, Cabba, and other characters that made anime more thrilling as protagonists defend Earth from other universe's fighters. But one excerpt that could not keep fans from staring at is the woman that suddenly becomes a Super Saiyan.

The woman with a small-framed body unexpectedly turned Super Saiyan who looks exactly the female of Broly. The ''Female Broly" wears earrings, robust chest and has eyes with no pupils along with a crown of blonde to green hair, according to Comicbook.

''Dragon Ball Super'' story arc is slated to start the ball rolling in February for the Universal Survival' saga with the synopsis below:

"At Goku's request, the Omni-Kings' "Tournament of Power" martial arts tournament between universes now begins! ...But this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquished...?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn out...?!"

For the meantime, there is no verification if the new character will have anything to do with the male Broly of Dragon Ball, however, the resemblance of the two fighters is hard to ignore. Speculations arise is she lives in Universe 6 along with Cabba.

"Dragon Ball Super" broadcasts on Crunchyroll every Saturdays at 7:15 PM CST and will premiere the English dub on Toonami Adult Swim every Saturdays at 11:30 PM.
