KPop idol Jeongyeon of the girl group TWICE showed love and gratitude to her supporters after her successful hosting stint in the popular music program “Inkigayo” on the band’s official Twitter page.
“ONCEs, I want to sincerely thank you all for supporting ‘Inkigayo’ MC Jeongyeon after all this time. I will never forget the moments I shared together with ONCEs every Sunday! Thank you!” Jeongyeon's tweet reads as quoted by Soompi.
Along with the singer’s sweet message is the beautiful collage photo of herself. In one shot, Jeongyeon carried out an adorable pose for the camera as she holds a bouquet of flower on her right hand and a script on the other.
The TWICE member has been hosting “Inkigayo” since July last year. Aside from Jeongyeon, her fellow host Kim Min Suk, as well as her sister Gong Seung Yeon, also bid farewell to the show.
Meanwhile, TWICE’s talent management agency JYP Entertainment has recently announced that the group will be making their comeback anytime this year. However, no further details were revealed yet as the band’s much-anticipated return is still on talks.
According to a statement released by the label as quoted by All KPop: "They're preparing a special album. The exact date has not been confirmed yet. It's currently under discussion”.
TWICE was formed by JYP Entertainment through the reality girl group survival show “Sixteen” in 2015. Composed of nine members namely Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, the band is known for their hit singles including “TT”, “Cheer Up”, and “Like Ooh Ahh”.
On February 17-19, the girls will be having their first ever concert titled “TWICE 1st TOUR 'TWICELAND'- THE OPENING” at the Seoul Olympic Park. The tickets were declared sold out just 40 minutes after it was opened for selling on January 20.
