The new PS-exclusive "Gravity Rush 2" has been making a stir since its launch, thanks to its physics-defying concept as well as its combat adventures. However, players have noticed that it does take a while to get used to the game, especially since the combat can feel both simplistic and chaotic at different intervals of the game.

Given that, how can "Gravity Rush 2" players better navigate the game? Here's a list of everything there is to know about the new Microsoft game: tips and tricks, guides, and the know-how to better understand the combat style in "Gravity Rush 2."

Watch the anime first

While a delightful game, "Gravity Rush 2" is not exactly newbie-friendly, so those who have never played the original "Gravity Rush" might find themselves in the thick of the woods. As such, it's highly recommended that first-time players watch the Sony-released two-part animated overture for the game's overall story. It gives the players a chance to be able to follow the story more easily, and can pass the time as players download the game, according to Kotaku.

Master 'Gravity Rush 2' movement

Another way players can gain more in "Gravity Rush 2" is by understanding how movement works. This might sound basic to most gamers, but because the game is largely a gravity-based adventure, players may find themselves in trouble if they don't master the basics of flight combat, combined with the massive 3D environments that define the game, according to Digital Trends. For beginners, R1 is for floating, while tapping it again would allow players to flip gravity in the direction they are facing. R2 is mainly for dodging both midflight or on the ground.

The additional stances in "Gravity Rush 2"--Lunar and Jupiter mode--slightly makes the game trickier. Players would have to master how to artfully and skillfully switch between the two modes during battles, the same report stated.

Players should also remember that they can upgrade Kat's gravity powers. They simply have to look for Precious Gems, which are found in Ore deposits, according to Shack News.
