The annual Mobile World Congress hosts some of the wold's largest communication companies, with many unveiling their latest phones and wearables gadgets.

Nokia has successfully launched its new Nokia 6 for Chinese market. Subsequently, users have expected the company to upgrade its Nokia-Z launcher into stable version, but there is no official plan from the company, yet.

The new Nokia 6 was sold out in a minute according to latest report from Forbes. The sales of the Nokia 6 was done in the flash sale following the number of successful one million pre-order registration. However, HMD Global, the company that owns Nokia brand has not mentioned the company’s plan regarding its famous Android Z-Launcher.

Z-Launcher is an Android launcher which has been launched since 2014 and available to download in Google PlayStore. There are more than one million people who downloaded the launcher with average ratings of 4.2 out of 5 level ratings. However, the product is not a finished one and still in beta stage after more than two years in the Google Play.

Its last update was on April last year according to Phone Arena. It is not included in the new Nokia 6 which is running Android Nougat with a customized User Interface targeted for Chinese customers. It seems that Nokia does not care about its Z-Launcher anymore.

Nokia has prepared its return to the industry the company once ruled for past decades. After the company’s mobile division was acquired by Microsoft in 2014, Nokia slowly rebuilt its mobile device product.

Microsoft sold the Nokia brand to Finnish company HMD Global in 2016. The $350 million deal was finalized in June 2016, and all the sales was completed last December. After the successful transition, HMD Global focused to resurrect the Nokia brand in co-operation with FoxConn to launch Nokia 6.

The successful sales of Nokia 6 will follow the other new product from Nokia, which is slated to release in February at the MobileWorld Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
