Google has made the most dramatic change to their logo since 1999 and have replaced their signature serif font with a new typeface called Product Sans.

The Google Allo 5.0 update may not seem too big because it is just about the customized chrome tabs but digging deeper reveals a series of interesting features in store for the users. For starters, the customization of tabs means that users will be able to browse or access links without leaving the app.

Those who update to the latest version of Allo will automatically experience this convenience in their browsing. In case users want to access a specific browser, they can always choose to go to the settings menu and opt to switch off the auto customization option for the browsing tab.

The custom chrome tabs option is also restricted to android phones only. Perhaps, Allo may role out an updated version for its iPhone users.

What new to expect?

An in-depth analysis of the APK further revealed that there are a few hidden features in the latest version. However, these features will be rolled out to a specific audience only.

For instance, there are personalized sticker packs for selfies. This means when a picture or selfie is clicked through Allo, the system will by default allot a sticker to it depending on the user's likings.

According to NDTV, the newer update will also allow users to generate their own stickers. Once the stickers are generated they will also ask the user to give feedback which may help to further improve the quality of services.

Not yet out

The new features are yet to be rolled out officially or even announced commercially. However, it is expected that they are going to come out soon.

In November last year, Allo introduced an update where it gave users access to chat theme and emojis.

For the users in India, Allo also introduced a Hindi Assistant. According to Nashville Chatter, fans of Allo can expect a stable update to come out soon. The beta version is already out and seems to be getting a good response.
