Korean rapper DinDin has been chosen to interview Hollywood actor Vin Diesel. The arrangement was made as part of the promotion campaign for the American actor's upcoming movie "xXx Return of Xander Cage" which will be shown in South Korea.

According to Allkpop, DinDin is scheduled to fly to Los Angeles, California today, Jan. 19, to attend the said movie's world premiere. He is expected to carry out an exclusive interview with Vin Diesel after the event.

Most Koreans cannot speak English and only those who grew up or studied abroad know how are have bits of knowledge on the language. In case of DinDin, he was able to study in Canada before making his debut as a rapper in Korea. This explains why he have the skills in English speaking.

This assignment will be another plus on his profile as his popularity continues to soar. Although he entered the Korean entertainment sphere in 2013 when he participated in "Show Me the Money 2," it was not until last year that he started making his name known.

Moreover, DinDin promoted as a rapper but it appears that he is more suited in variety shows as a comedian/entertainer. Fans are loving him through his appearances in variety programs and this was also the reason for his sudden popularity.

DinDin's guesting on well-loved shows such as "Infinite Challenge" and "Radio Star" played big roles in the rapper's career boost. Now, with his wit and funny personality, he is considered as one of the best rookie entertainers out there.

Meanwhile, based on info released by IMDb, Vin Diesel's "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" will start showing in Korea on Feb. 9. This will also star Kris Wu, the former member of world famous boy group EXO. Wu left the band in 2014 after two years of promotion. He went back to China and focused on his modeling and acting career.
