‘Hwarang’ actress Go Ara talks about drama series, co-actors for The Star magazine

Go Ara is The Star's cover girl for its January and February editions. In the accompanying interview for the magazine, the actress and model talked about her experience on "Hwarang."

The 26-year-old celebrity said she is thankful that "Hwarang" has a happy set, adding that followers of the drama series have to look forwards about it in the upcoming episodes, Soompi cited.

Playing one of the principal roles, Go Ara shared her co-actors Park Seo Joon and Park Hyun Sik have been helping her on "Hwarang." She added, "I relied on the two of them a lot while we were filming."

Go Ara also assured her fans that her character on "Hwarang" will have an effect to them. She added female viewers will surely understand Ah Ro's situation in the drama series.

Aside from sharing about her role in the current drama, Go Ara also answered a couple of questions about her personal life. The actress and model revealed she is quite a clumsy woman unlike other people's view of her.

"I'm bright and more simple than you would expect. Many people view me as stable and firm but I'm actually quite clumsy," Go Ara said.

Go Ara started her acting career when she was offered to play the lead role on "Sharp #1" back in 2003. The teen drama was followed by a sequel after two years, where the actress appeared to reprise her role.

Aside from acting, she is also a known model, becoming the youngest model of Etude House in 2006. Last year, Go Ara left SM Entertainment and decided to sign with Artist Company in January, Allkpop reported.

Go Ara even took to her SNS account to announce the news, promising to work even harder under her new agency. The celebrity also asked her fans for their support as she takes a fresh start with Artist Company.
