"The Big Bang Theory" has been airing for a decade now. Now that the current season is already half-way, fans are starting to wonder what's next for Penny, Sheldon, Leonard and the rest of the gang. Will there be a Season 11 coming this year?

Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" need not worry as lead stars Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki are still up for at least one more season. This is contrary to earlier reports that "Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will be canceled because Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon wants to move on from the show.

Reports further indicate that the comedian is interested in pursuing executive producing this time around. However, fans should take this with a grain of salt because nothing has been confirmed yet on Parsons' part.

On Tuesday, CBS Entertainment president Glen Geller announced that the execs agreed of getting the cast back next season. The show's producers are prioritizing to cast Cuoco, Parsons and Galecki as "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 regulars.

In an interview with Variety, Geller said the goal is to get the three leads. He also confirmed that negotiations for Season 11 are already underway. However, he did not confirm whether or not they will renew it for multiple seasons.

When asked about the same publication last year about his thoughts on "The Big Bang Theory" closing its chapter, Parsons admitted that he is thinking about the end. "I am painfully aware that if things keep going the way they're going - and by that I mean as a cast we have a good time together," he said. He continued that what's more important is that the stories are still so enjoyable.

If negotiations with Parsons, Cuoco and Galecki prove fruitful, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will premiere in September 2017, according to Movie Pilot. This season will mark the tenth anniversary of the show. For the meantime, watch this promo from the latest episode of the "Big Bang Theory" Season 10:
