Block B member Jaehyo looked extremely charming as he proudly holds a massive kingfish on the cover page of “Fishing News” magazine’s February issue.
In the photo released by the publication, the 26-year-old KPop star looked like a real fisherman in his outfit as he smiles for the camera with the 10-kilogram kingfish on his hands. He was also labeled by the magazine as a “Fishing-dol” (in short for fishing idol).
"It's the first time an idol model was chosen since the establishment of 'Fishing News'. It's even more meaningful because it's the first time ever that an idol became a cover model, not only for 'Fishing News', but in this field in general. This upcoming photo shoot will be an exciting, fun project,” said the magazine’s CEO Kim Dong Wook in a past interview as quoted by All KPop.
Before 2016 ended, Jaehyo’s talent management agency Seven Seasons had announced his collaboration project with “Fishing News”, which is a dream come true for him. In fact, the label also revealed that the magazine’s genre is very close to the idol’s heart as he is a huge fan of fishing as well as the ocean.
According to Seven Seasons: ”Jaehyo is known to be a huge fan of fishing, and even enjoys fishing in the ocean. His wish has been granted by becoming the cover model for 'Fishing News'."
Jaehyo began his entertainment career in 2011 after joining Block B in 2011. Aside from him, members Tae Il, B-Bomb, U-Kwon, Park Kyung, Zico, and P.O. also make up the group.
Meanwhile, Jaehyo’s fellow Block B member Park Kyung has recently disclosed the five tracks of his upcoming debut mini album titled “Notebook”, Soompi reported. KPop stars Park Bo Ram and GFRIEND’s Eunha were among the artists who were featured in record.
