Aside from having the opportunity to take a breather and enjoy a mini-vacation, Park Bo Gum was delighted to fly to Jakarta to meet his Indonesian fans for his Asian Fan Meeting Tour.
Soompi reported Jakarta was Park Bo Gum's first stop for his Asian Fan Meeting Tour. The "Moonligh Drawn By Clouds" actor said he intends to reach out to his fans from all over Asia through fan meeting events.
During his fan meeting at the Kasablanka Hall in Jakarta, Park Bo Gum was able to meet 2,000 Indonesian fans, who enthusiastically participated during the special event. The idol interacted with his fans through games and a Q&A session.
"I really enjoy playing games together and I cherish the time I spend with fans - I hope I can meet every fans' eyes and greet them!" Park Bo Gum said.
The actor admitted language barrier is a problem when meeting with non-Korean fans; however, Park Bo Gum said he can still feel the love of his fans regardless of the language they speak.
He continued, "I am really thankful and I hope that I'll be able to come back to meet Indonesian fans again."
During the fan meeting in Jakarta, Park Bo Gum dedicated a letter to his Indonesian fans. In the self-written letter, the actor admitted he never expected that he is popular in the country, considering that he never had any promotional activities in Indonesia.
The "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" star is also hopeful to be back in the country to meet his Indonesian fans again. Yibada reported Park Bo Gum left Korea to begin this year's Asian Fan Meeting Tour on Jan. 11.
The fan meeting in Jakarta will be followed by an Asia Fan Meeting Tour in Taiwan and Tokyo which are scheduled on Jan. 22 and Feb. 4, respectively. After those, Park Bo Gum will fly to Bangkok on Feb. 11 and Singapore on Feb. 18 to meet with his fans.
