Before "Confidential Assignment" could even hit the theaters, YoonA has already won the heart of her manager as he commended the Girls' Generation member for a job well done.
YoonA said her manager could not believe she is taking the big screen for the first time because of her commendable acting. "When my manager watched the movie, he said that it didn't seem like I was acting. I think a lot of it seemed like how I am in every day, real life," she said as per Soompi.
The singer-turned-actress said her co-actors in "Confidential Assignment" made it easy for her to play as Yoo Hae Jin's sister-in-law. "The senior actors made the filming set so comfortable and I think that was the biggest help for me. They gave me a lot of advice and took good care of me," YoonA added.
Previously, YoonA admitted her role in the upcoming film matched her personality well, adding that she has learned a lot from her "Confidential Assignment" co-actors Yoo Hae Jin, Hyun Bin and Kim Joo Hyuk.
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation members showed their all-out support to YoonA for her first big screen appearance. According to Yonhap, the members are hopeful for the success of "Confidential Assignment."
YoonA takes the role of Park Min Young in the upcoming action film. The star said she was able to express herself while filming for "Confidential Assignment."
The Korean film will revolve around the life of Im Cheol Ryung (Hyun Bin), a North Korean investigator who will work with Kang Jin Tae (Yoo Hae Jin) to look for Cha Ki Seong (Kim Joo Hyuk).
Also in the film are actors Jang Young Nam, Lee Dong Hwi, Lee Hae Young and Lee Yi Kyung. "Confidential Assignment" is slated to hit the theaters on Jan. 18.
