South Korean rapper Sleepy shows off his sweet side as he pulled off a surprise birthday stunt for onscreen wife Lee Kuk Ju on “We Got Married.”
During the January 14 episode of the show, the Untouchable member made Lee very happy on her special day through his sweet gestures starting from the doorsteps of their house wherein he left some note which says “the password is your birthday” and a small bouquet of flowers for his love team on the door knob up to the living room where he was waiting kneeling on the floor with his cute face on as heart shaped candles surrounds him. However, the mentioned acts were only the start of Sleepy’s sweet birthday bash as he also serenaded his wife with the trombone version of the “Happy Birthday” song.
After his romantic little musical show, which made his partner very happy, the comedian jokingly asked Sleepy: “If I blow these candles out, does Gong Yoo appear?”.
“I’m your Gong Yoo,” replied Sleepy as quoted by Soompi.
Meanwhile, the couple recently attended the recently held 2016 MBC Entertainment Awards wherein Lee brought home the prestigious “Excellence Award”. The said event became an emotional not only for the comedian but for Sleepy as well.
According to Lee as quoted by All KPop: "The 'Excellence Award' was like a 'Daesang' for me. I was so happy I couldn't say it with words. I really felt that Oppa was looking after me."
"I was sad for her. She really suffered a lot. I was proud of her, and I felt like I was receiving the award,” said the rapper.
The couple was introduced as the new couple of “We Got Married” in November last year. They took the place of former love team Eric Nam and Solar.
