It was last April 2016 when the American television drama series, "Better Call Saul," ended its second installment. Since the third season of the series was already confirmed, recent reports are loud that fans might finally see Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) in the upcoming third season run.

According to Den of Geek, Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) and his brother Chuck (Michael McKean) continued to battle it out in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. It was also revealed that the upcoming season will showcase another alter ego of Jimmy, which is Gene. It was said that Gene was the identity that Jimmy used after his stint with Heisenberg. The same publication noted that Gene is a Cinnabon staff in Nebraska.

Meanwhile, it is said that all the principle cast of "Better Call Saul" will return and reprise their roles in the third installment; however, rumors say that fans are concerned whether Esposito's character, Gus Fring, will finally be in "Better Call Saul" Season 3.

It can be recalled that fans have already deciphered the code that the series creator Vince Gilligan inserted in the episode titles of the second season, Vanity Fair reported. The report said that several fans noticed the phrase "Fring's Back" when every first letter of the 10 episode titles is spelled out.

The publication also revealed that Gilligan, along with the series' co-creator Peter Gould, did not expect that viewers would easily uncover the Gus Fring puzzle. It was even said that Gilligan and Gould were planning to reveal the puzzle sometime in the summer.

The same report did also note that it might be Fring who left the note on Mike's (Jonathan Banks) windshield in the finale of "Better Call Saul" Season 2. However, the interview of Gilligan with Vanity Fair clarified that it might not be Fring at all who left the note. Gilligan emphasized that Fring is a very cautious character and will not reveal himself that easily. He also added that fans should not assume to see Fring in the beginning of "Better Call Saul" Season 3.
