It's official. Fan favorite baddie Gus Fring will be back on the third installment of "Better Call Saul."

According to Deadline, AMC has confirmed that Giancarlo Esposito will reprise the role at the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter press tour on Saturday. The character was first introduced in the early seasons of Breaking Bad as Walter White/Heisenberg's (Bryan Cranston) arch nemesis.

"It's great to be back with the family of filmmakers," Esposito said at the panel.

"I'm honored to be asked back. I had to remind myself to be very present in the character" who, in the prequel is more "immature than when we left off," still finding his way to where he was at the cartel. "I"m excited to be back. Gus is a cagey character. I'm going back to the original stage direction that was really inspiring to me, which was 'Hiding in plain sight.' You're not who you think you are. Sometimes you have different agendas and go about achieving things in different ways."

The actor also took to Twitter on Wednesday to confirm his return, sharing a commercial footage of the fictional Los Pollos Hermanos where Fring is featured.

"I'm back!! What you've been waiting for, the rise of Gus is coming! Check this out...#PollosHermanos," he tweeted.

Fans will remember that Fring's death in season 4 was one of the memorable deaths pulled off by Heisenberg over the course of its five season run on AMC. Going into "Better Call Saul" Season 3, it's safe to say that his presence will surely make an impact among fans and critics alike. How he rose to power as one of Mexico's drug kingpin is a storyline fans will surely look forward to.

"Better Call Saul" also stars Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks and Michael McKean. Season 3 premieres on Monday, April 10 on AMC.
