"Arrested Development" is finally coming back for more on Netflix. Although initially planned for 2016 release, producers and actors indicated that production is about to start so a new season could be available for streaming this year.

Season 5 is Confirmed!

Netflix have successfully revived the cult comedy series "Arrested Development" in 2013 and the streaming service have indicated that it's interested in producing more series. After years of delay, production is about to start for another season.

But the good news doesn't stop there as Uproxx reported that everyone is "on board" for another season. Of course, getting them all in one setting is an uphill challenge given that nearly everyone in the series are already extremely popular with different series/movies. Will Arnett (Gob Bluth) is busy with his "Lego Batman Movie," Jeffrey Tambor (George Bluth Sr.) is in "Transparent" and the rest are either committed to various TV series and movies.

Working with Busy Schedule

Another reason why fans should be excited that the series is about to start is the fact that everyone has finally committed not only in coming back but also in fixing their schedules for shooting the series. According to TV Line, executive producer Brian Grazer has indicated that they have finally figured out the schedule for each cast member and on how to work around it.

Continuing the series is going to be very interesting because of the events that happened in season. (Warning: spoilers alert) The show ended with Michael and son George Michael competing for the same girl. Once they discovered the situation George Michael so enraged that he even slapped his father.

The show could pick up where it left off or it could show the aftermath of the events. It's definitely going to be an interesting season once Netflix release all episodes this year.
