The world of DC comic books, successfully produced by the Warner Bro's, has created a movie empire due to a large number of fans that have followed up with their comic books and they also possess a general interest in the legendary superhero world. With its prior attempt to bring the superhero "Green Lantern" to life in its movies, the Warner Bros faced much criticism and negative response from the fans and the box office but the company has now taken a major forward and aims to create a new Green Lantern movie called "Green Lantern Corps".

According to news obtained from CinemaBlend, the new Green Lantern Corps movie will depict the team as "Lethal Weapon in space" which will be based on the original storyline from the classic comic book series. The script writer for this upcoming movie is not new to the Warner Bros and DC universe. The company has selected David Goyer and Justin Rhodes for writing the script of the movie which will be a new step for the DC universe and give a long sigh of relief to the fans who eagerly await many new films from the comic books.

The very talented and experienced script writer David Goyer has his own long list of contributions to the superhero media credits. He is not new to DC studios, as he also wrote the scripts for "Batman Begins" and "Man of Steel" and also co-wrote "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". He was also given story credits for the highly reputed "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises". Some of Justin Rhode's scripts include "Fantastic Voyage remake" directed by Guillermo Del Toro.

Information from Deadline further explains that the story for the new movie will focus on the characters of Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Topic much under debate is whether or not the company will re-engage Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan like they did for the first "Green lantern" movie. However, with the star having worked as the protagonist in the box-office success "Deadpool" for the Marvel series of superhero movies, there is highly an unlikely chance for situation to occur.
