"Boku no Hero Academia" a.k.a. "My Hero Academia" is gearing up for its sophomore season. In just a matter of three months, fans will get to see the show returning for more actions and adventures. The new season that is due for release this spring will present a fresh lineup with the arrival of Class 1-B.

In the upcoming "My Hero Academia" Season 2, the plot will focus on the Sports festival arc. It serves as the fifth story arc in Kohei Horikoshi's manga. It will cover chapters 22 to 44 of the manga. Those who don't mind reading minor spoilers then keep reading the succeeding paragraphs.

In the new season of "My Hero Academia," Izuku will face some of his greatest enemies yet. Class 1-B is another class in U.A's Hero Department. Some students of the class include Yousetsu Awase, Ibara Shiozaki, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Juuzou Honenuki, Itsuka Kendou, and Neito Monoma.

According to Crunchyroll, voice actress Saki Ogasawara will voice the class president Itsuka Kendou. Kouji Okino will voice Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu while Azu Sakura will be Class 1-H student Mei Hatsume.

A new artwork showcases the new characters of the show. Its creator Horikoshi shared his "New Year" art to his Twitter followers.

One of the things noticeable in the manga is the fight between Team Midoriya and Team Todoroki. According to the Boku no Hero Academia Wikia, it will show Katsuki's overflowing ambition. They will have a final clash that will ultimately lead to Izuku using One For All to create wind pressure.

To those who have not seen the first season, "My Hero Academia" followed Izuku and his journey in trying to hone his newfound abilities. It consisted of 13 episodes.

When the anime concluded, its studio Bones did not release any details about it that some fans suspect a follow-up season will not happen. But fans are giddy now that "My Hero Academia" will surely return to TV via NTV/YTV at 5:30 p.m. every Saturday in April 2017. YTV also started airing the 13 episodes of the anime on Jan. 9.
