‘Seven First Kisses’ Lee Joon Gi, Kim Ah Joong to play lead roles in ‘Criminal Minds’

South Korean actors Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ah Joong will be playing lead roles in the upcoming series "Criminal Minds." The upcoming television series is a remake of the American series with the same title.

On Jan. 11, the two actors have received an offer to play lead roles in the Korean adaptation of the American series "Criminal Minds." Agencies representing the actors confirmed the news, however, revealed that the stars is yet to decide whether to accept the offer or not, KpopHerald revealed.

"It's true that Lee Joon Gi received an offer for 'Criminal Minds.' He is currently examining the project,' Lee's agency, Namoo Actors revealed.

In 2005, the American series "Criminal Minds" started airing on the US-based network CBS. Now on its 12th season, the series will be remade as a Korean series and will premiere on KBS 2TV in fall.

Meanwhile, the 34-year old actor is currently promoting his latest movie "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," alongside with Hollywood star Mila Jovovich, Soompi revealed. Together with Director Paul Anderson, who is also Jovovich's husband, the three of them meet up for a dinner on Jan. 12.

Upon the meet up, the Hallyu star gave Jovovich a welcoming gift, which surprises the actress.  Photos during their dinner was then uploaded on their respective Instagram accounts.

The actor even brought one of Korea's popular dish, jokbal (pig's feet) to let Jovovich try. Reports reveal that the two stars together with director Anderson will attend a red carpet event for their movie on Jan. 13.

"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" revolves around Alice (Jovovich) as she returns to the Raccoon City as humanity's last hope to fight off against Umbrella Corporation. Playing as Commander Lee in the drama, Lee will put Alice in danger as he works under the company which Alice intends to destroy.
