On the Jan. 11 episode of "Radio Star," BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Rosé made an appearance where they talked about their contract with YG Entertainment and the prohibitions covered by the agreement.

According to Allkpop, the BLACKPINK members are not allowed to do six things as per their contracts. These prohibitions include drinking, smoking, clubbing, driving, plastic surgery, and dating.

However, Jisoo added a YG artist can compromise with the agency if the idol violates the prohibitions. "Anything is possible if you talk to the agency," the BLACKPINK member said.

Jisoo and Rosé also revealed YG Entertainment does not allow female and male trainees to be in one room. "The trainees even had different eating times.  There were six male trainees and seven female trainees," they said.

The BLACKPINK members went on, "[If the times overlap] the managers block us off so the girls and boys couldn't see each other.  We don't know each other's faces.  It's fine after we debut and work on songs."

In the same interview, Jisoo shared she was previously offered to become a trainee of SM Entertainment. Soompi reported the BLACKPINK member was approached by a staff of the label to ask her if she was interested of becoming an idol.

Jisoo cited the offer was made during a YG Entertainment concert, were all trainees were present to watch event. "But the fact that I was a trainee had not been officially announced yet, so I had to just say I wasn't interested," she added.

The BLACKPINK member said the manager from SM Entertainment offered her to work under them; however, Jisoo added she politely apologized and told the manager that she has already signed up with another agency.

The encounter made Jisoo laugh as she remembered how the manager never assumed it was YG Entertainment she was referring to as the staff even had to ask her.
