After admitting his relationship with Kang So Ra in December, Hyun Bin revealed the reason behind his decision to tell the truth.
Dating rumors linking Hyun Bin and Kang So Ra surfaced back in December, Soompi reported. Shortly after the rumor became the talk of the town, the two actors immediately confirmed their relationship through their respective agencies.
The agencies revealed Hyun Bin and Kang So Ra have been dating for two weeks when they decided to make their relationship public. Further reports stated the two first met for a project in October.
The two reportedly became closer to each other while seeking for each other's advice and concerns. The agencies added Hyun Bin and Kang So Ra are being watchful since their relationship is just starting.
In a recent interview, Hyun Bin admitted he does not want his relationship with Kang So Ra to be talked about by the public. The actor added there was no particular reason for going public about it, Allkpop cited.
"Not that there's any special reason but it's the truth. I just admitted to what was true but this doesn't mean that I want to open up my privacy to the public," the actor said.
He added Kang So Ra could not make it to the premiere of his upcoming film "Cooperation" due to conflicting schedules.
"Kang So Ra said she can't attend the VIP movie premiere for "Cooperation" because she has a schedule that day. I also don't want personal matters to become the center of attention," he said in the interview.
Hyun Bin will share the big screen with Yoo Hae Jin in the action film. Hyun Bin will play as a North Korean investigator in "Cooperation." He will work with Yoo Hae Jin to track down the leader of an illegal North Korean organization.
