‘Goblin’ OSTs nabs top spots on various music charts; Drama reclaims spot on TV chart

(Photo : YouTube/DramaFever) The success and enigmatic presence of the “Goblin” stars continues to soar higher. The unparalleled collaboration of Lee Dong Wook and the “Train to Busan” star Gong Yoo is bound to shake the entertainment industry of South Korea.

Tracks for the tvN drama "Goblin" are reigning on the charts! Singer Ailee, R&B group Urban Zakapa, and April 2nd's Kim Kyung Hee are behind the famous OSTs.

As of Jan. 10 at 2:30 a.m. KST, all eight major Korean music charts featured the "Goblin's" OSTs. Be it Ailee's "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow," or Urban Zakapa's "Wish," or even Kim Kyung Hee's "And I'm Here," which all landed on the top spot.

On the real-time charts of Melon, Genie, Naver, and Monkey3, Ailee's track came in first place, while Urban Zakapa's song tops on Bugs, Olleh, and Soribada. Further, Kim's newly released OST "And I'm Here" got the first place on Mnet, Soompi reported.

With regards to the show's new song "Wish," Urban Zakapa commented that they are truly delighted that many people seems to love the track. The group even revealed that they too are fans of the show, hence, they have prepared a song that fits well to the show.

Urban Zakapa's "Wish," is said to bring out the sentiment of the drama. Wrapping up, the group asked the fans to continue supporting the show and their OST.

Meanwhile, "Goblin" reclaim its lead overtaking KBS' new drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth."  In a data developed by the entertainment company CJ E&M and media tracker Nielsen Korea, the tvN drama scored over 287.7 points on the Content Power Index (CPI), leading it to become the top TV program during the week of Dec. 26 through Jan. 1, KpopHerald reported.

Tailing in second is the KBS' drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" with 250.3 points, falling from its No. 1 spot the previous week. "Hwarang," is an idol-studded period drama based on the Hwarang youth organization during the Silla Kingdom.

Followed by SBS' "The Legend of the Blue Sea" and "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim," which came in at third and fourth, respectively. Wrapping up the top five is MBC's comedy show "Infinite Challenge."

The Content Power Index measures the popularity of the TV programs based on the number of views of related news stories, online search tallies and buzz on social media.
