While we still don't have an exact title for the "Han Solo" spin-off film in the entire "Star Wars" saga, what we do know is that the film will be potentially moved from its original release date of May to December 2018 instead.

According to recent reports made by Making Star Wars, it was actually the sources straight from the movie industry itself that mentioned the possible shift of its premiere date towards the end of 2018, specifically on Dec. 13, as opposed to its original May 25, 2018 release date.

To add to that information, outlet notes actually indicate the paperwork for the "Han Solo" spin-off film's release date to potentially change to December of that year. More updates on the film will soon follow.

Meanwhile, IGN reports that the "Star Wars" franchise seems to be looking really bright for its box-office success. Looking at a pattern of its release date of December, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One" have actually played a big part in bringing the franchise back to its feet. As a matter of fact, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" has even surpassed "Captain America: Civil War" as the second highest-grossing movie of 2016.

Speaking about a December release, it seems "Star Wars: Episode VIII" has had Disney move it to December 2017. While the "Han Solo" spin-off film has been tentatively set for the same month two years, we have yet to still hear from Lucasfilm itself to finally carry out that plan.

Directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord have been reported to helm the spin-off, with "Hail, Caesar!" actor Alden Ehrenreich as young Han Solo and "Community" actor Donald Glover as young Lando Calrissian. The "Han Solo" spin-off film will reportedly be jam-packed with thrills and adventure, as it takes a "heist or Western type feel," according to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
