"It's Showtime!" host Anne Curtis recently released a statement regarding her younger sister Jasmie Curtis and boyfriend Erwan Heussaff's very close relationship.

Just recently, Jasmine shared a video on Snapchat revealing how close she is with Curtis' long-time boyfriend.

However, what started off as a casual post was lambasted by hundreds of netizens online, according to PEP.ph.

Some fans and critics couldn't help but question Jasmine's closeness with the chef/model especially since he's in a relationship with her sister.

Jasmine later on deleted the video which led fans to further speculate that something is going on between her and Heussaff.

Meanwhile, Curtis released a statement on her Twitter account asking her fans to stop speculating about Jasmine and Heussaff.

"Hey, all. This is getting out of hand. It was all an inside joke between my boyfriend, my sister, myself and everyone at the party. My private account was wrongly screencapped and this is becoming ridiculous. We took down posts because so many people reacted maliciously to them automatically and we didn't want all of this to happen. Case in point. Nothing happened, we are all fine. I'm lucky that Erwan treats Jasmine like her own sister. He has known her since she was 13. So please, STOP. It deeply saddens me that such viciousness is being thrown at the people I love. DON'T perverse their relationship. I mean, seriously. This is a non-issue," she wrote.

On Tuesday, Curtis captioned her Twitter post by writing, "This is the only time I will comment on this issue. So please STOP saying things about my sister & my boyfriend."

In other news, some fans of the Curtises and Heussaff sided with the actress by saying that other people should stop putting malice in their relationships.

However, there were still those that claimed that the video posted on Snapchat was very inappropriate especially considering how young Jasmine is compared to Heussaff.

Some fans noted that if there was no malice in the video it shouldn't have been taken down. Other also claimed that the Curtises posted the video deliberately because they wanted fans to talk about them. Unfortunately, they didn't expect that things will turn out to be this sour.
