According to Asiastarz, Roland Quandt declared that the phone will be exclusively available on Verizon in the US in 2017. Apart from this speculations have also been made that the phone will run on an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with 3 GB of RAM. The phone is said to have a 4.5 - inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD curved edge display and the most exciting part of the phone will be the physical QWERTY keypad present in the Smartphone and a battery capacity of 3,400 mAh along with the 32 GB internal storage space.

This teaser lives up to its true meaning as the video released is only for 4 seconds and shows the elegant and sleek black color design of the BlackBerry Mercury smart phone. The new teaser brings about more speculations regarding the processor of the phone. The suggested device powering processor by Snapdragon 821 chipset could actually be a Snapdragon 625 SoC instead.
