"Daredevil" actor Vincent D'Onofrio said that he is constantly in talks with "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn. He also teased the return of Wilson Fisk a.k.a Kingpin to the MCU.

Kingpin has been one of Matt Murdock's formidable arch nemesis in the television series and in the comics. However, "Daredevil" won't be returning soon because of the "Defenders" where the show's titular character will also star in.

For those who are wondering what they should look forward to in Season 3, D'Onofrio said that he knows his character will be back eventually but he does not know when.

"He will, eventually. Honestly, I wish I knew 'cause I could plan my year better. I know he will come back, I just don't know when. I can't wait to find out," he said, Heroic Hollywood reported.

The actor went to say that he is very happy to work with Marvel. He made no secret of his love for the "Guardians of the Galaxy" and is in fact tweeting back and forth with Gunn about doing something together, Comic Book reported.

"I've been tweeting back and forth with James Gunn, about doing something with him because I love Guardians of the Galaxy so much," he said. As a self-confessed comic book fun, he said that he loves the creativity brought about by these films. He said that he is also looking forward to seeing "Captain Marvel" and "Wonder Woman."

"Daredevil" Season 3 will not be coming until 2018. In the meantime, he could very well make an appearance in other upcoming Marvel properties under Netflix such as "Iron Fist," "Defenders" and "The Punisher" which will all arrive in 2017.
