'Dragon Ball Super' premieres back to back with 'Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters' on Toonami on January 7

Great news to "Dragon Ball Super" fanatics as the all-time favorite anime is going to air on Adult Swim on January 7, 2017, 8 PM EST along with Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters at 12 AM EST on the same night.

"Dragon Ball Super" will debut on Adult Swim on January 7, 2017, 8 PM EST. It is made possible in collaboration between Funimation, Adult Swim, and Toei Funimation. The English-dubbed episodes of the new "Dragon Ball" series will premiere during the Toonami segment this January.

It would be a back-to-back anime favorite as "Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" which covers the Buu saga will air at 12AM EST on the same night. Many original actors who voice the characters will reprise their roles such as Christopher R. Sabat and Sean Schemmel, according to Japanator.

"Dragon Ball Super" emphasizes on Lord Beerus along with other familiar casts including Goku, Goten, Mr. Boo, Piccolo, King Kai, Vegeta, and others.  In Japan, "Dragon Ball Super" is currently showing its episode 71 and is foreseen that it would take at least a year to cave into the ongoing series.

IGN reported that 26 episodes of the first season are slated to air in the coming weeks and months. Funimation announced that that it will manage the English dub adding to the home release distribution of the series in Canada and US. The company has ever since started the creation of "Dragon Ball Super" English subtitled version obtainable.

The series creator, Akira Toriyama will supervise "Dragon Ball Super" continuing Goku's story as he struggles to keep the peace after his legendary battle with Majin Buu. "Dragon Ball Super" has premiered in America on many anime streaming sites and is presently streaming on Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and FunimationNow, with new broadcast episodes airing every Saturday.

Meanwhile, the "Dragon Ball Super" Japanese version is reaching a new arc. The "Tournament of Power" is set to begin in February and revolves on martial arts tournament between different universes. The new chapter is known as "Universal Survival Arc" and will headline Goku and the Universe 7 fighters as they compete against diverse teams coming from different universes.
