"Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" unveiled its behind-the-scene story of Yoo Yun Suk and Seo Hyun Jin which made the fans more giddy about the couple. The ongoing SBS drama airs every Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 p.m KST.
On Dec. 22, "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" released it behind-the-scene photos from Yoo and Seo's one minute kissing scene. The still images shows the rehearsal of the two stars with their scripts while fronting a serious looking face.
One of the production's staff member revealed, "Yoo Yun Suk and Seo Hyun Jin are both working hard with passion and determination and are giving their very best in every single scene. Their great chemistry is making fans excited and helping the production become more passionate," Allkpop reported.
The drama tells the story of a genius and triple board certified surgeon, who was once at the top of his field and used to work at Geodae, which is Seoul's top hospital. After a traumatic accident, he disappears and changes his name into Kim Sa Bu and worked at a small hospital in Gangwon Province called Nomdam, where he met Kang Dong Joo (Yoo) and Yoon Seo Jeong (Seo).
He will then guide the two doctors to become the greatest doctors in their field. He will also teach them to fight against power and money for the patients' sake.
The drama's first episode started airing on Nov. 7, which garnered a 10.5 percent viewership rating in Seoul's capital area, according to AGB Nielsen. During its second episode, it recorded a 8.7 percent viewership rating, nationwide.
Lead stars Yoo and Seo are nominated in the Best Couple category in the upcoming "2016 SBS Drama Awards," which will commence on Dec. 31. While, Han Suk Kyu is also nominated in the K-Wave Star Award category, along with Seo.
Meanwhile, the drama started airing internationally in Los Angeles, California. It airs on LA 18 KSCI-TV with English subtitles starting Dec. 5 to Feb. 7, the following year.
