On the Dec. 22 episode of "Ji Suk Jin's 2 O'Clock Date," Park Hoon has nothing but praises for Song Joong Ki, whom he has worked with on "Descendants of the Sun."
According to Soompi, Park Hoon talked about how he sees the co-actor with high regards, sharing an instance where Song Joong Ki showed his kindness towards him.
"It was my first drama [as a bigger role], and my hometown was actually one of the filming sites for "Descendants of the Sun." Song Joong Ki personally came over [to my home] to pay his respects to my mother," Park Hoon said.
He added that he never asked Song Joong Ki to come to his place, yet, the actor willingly did. "His personality makes him seem like a missionary for good character," the actor added.
Park Hoon played the role of Snoopy under the Alpha Team. Aside from "Descendants of the Sun," the actor is also known for his projects "Monster," "Goodbye Mr. Black," "Six Flying Dragons," "Oh My Ghost" and "Red Teacher."
On the other hand, Song Joong Ki was casted to play as an independent fighter for "Battleship Island." Allkpop reported that the upcoming movie recently wrapped up their filming after six months.
"We started in the hot summer and worked hard for 6 months. I wanted to do really well as it's a meaningful production to me and I'm honored that I could be part of a film with the best staff," Song Joong Ki said.
The "Descendants of the Sun" actor will share the big screen with So Ji Sub, Hwang Jung Min and Lee Jung Hyun for "Battleship Island." The upcoming film is directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, who is known for his films "Veteran" and "The Berlin Files."
