2NE1 has officially disbanded and there are a lot of questions about what CL, Sandara, Park Bom and Minzy are up to these days. For now, the most visible appears to be Sandara Park who's currently busy with overseas and local commitments.

On Dec. 20, Sandara updated her Instagram page with a photo of her in Incheon International Airport. She noted that she is going on a business trip and that this would be her last activity for the year.

Although Sandara didn't disclose her destination, it is presumed that she is heading to the Philippines where she is currently a judge on the local talent program "Pinoy Boyband Superstar." Aside from her appearance on the show, Sandara also stars in various local commercials.

At the time of 2NE1's disbandment, Sandara was in the Philippines working on the talent show. In a video taken by an audience member, Sandara was spotted holding back her tears after hearing the news.

In an interview in SBS' "Cultwo Show," Sandara's younger brother, Thunder, confirmed that the singer-actress is indeed pre-occupied with projects overseas. "She's doing really well.  She has a lot of promotions overseas," Thunder revealed, as quoted by allkpop.

Following 2NE1's disbandment, Sandara and CL remained with YG Entertainment and renewed their exclusive contracts with the agency, Billboard reported. Park Bom, however, did not renew and is thus no longer managed by the agency. Former member Minzy had already left the agency earlier this year.

For now, little is known about what YG Entertainment's plans are for Sandara next year. Among all members of 2NE1, Sandara has the most acting experience, having appeared in dramas such as "Dr. Ian" and "We Broke Up." Her training as a former artist of Philippine talent agency Star Magic also gives her an advantage in the acting department. With this, fans are hoping to see more of her in dramas and movies.
