After wrapping up their concert in Japan, EXO member D.O is set to star in another upcoming film. The film is directed by Lee Yong Seung and distributed by Lotte Entertainment.

The 23-year old singer has been cast along with the South Korean actor Shin Ha Kyun in the upcoming film "Room 7." The upcoming film tells the story of a DVD owner, whose business is in the midst of bankruptcy, and his part-time worker, Allkpop reported.

In the DVD shop, there is a room called "Room 7," where the two characters hide their secrets. However, things started to get worse as they try to hide more secrets.

EXO's D.O will be playing as Tae-jung, the poor university student who works as a part-timer in Doo-Sik's (Shin) DVD shop in order to pay off his school loan. The movie will start its filming in early January next year.

Meanwhile, the twelve-member K-pop band scheduled concert in Nanjing, China has been postponed. In a report by Yonhap News, the group's agency revealed that the postponement of EXO's concert might be because of South Korea's plan to deploy an advance U.S missile defense system.

EXO planned to do their concert "EXO Planet #3-The EXO'rDIUM" at Nanjing's Olympic stadium on Dec. 17. However, it has been recently decided that the concert will be rescheduled due to the request of its Chinese agency.

It is worth noting that Beijing has since disband Korean stars from performing in the country since October of this year in retaliation for Seoul's decision to launch the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) on the Korean Peninsula. But on Nov. 22, Chinese cultural authority allowed Akdong Musician to hold a showcase in Shanghai, leading anticipations that the authority might have recently eased its stance.

S.M Entertainment further added that they will reschedule EXO's concert as soon as possible after consultations with the organizer. EXO recently wrapped up the Japan leg for their 3rd concert tour with 320,000 fans.
