Talent management agency C9 Entertainment has recently revealed that South Korean singer and actress Eugene of the girl group S.E.S. has recently suffered an ankle injury.

According to a statement by the label, Eugene had her ankle injured while shooting the music video of S.E.S’ upcoming single. Furthermore, she was advised by her doctor to take some rest for her fast recovery, All Kpop reports.

Because of the accident, Eugene will not be able to make it to the popular TV program “SNL Korea 8” wherein she will be appearing with her fellow group mates Shoo and Bada as a mark of the group’s 20th year in the show business.

“Eugene hurt her ankle while filming S.E.S’s music video, and as she needs time to recover, we are worried that there will be problems with scheduling the comeback preparations and other activities. Hence, we decided to turn down the appearance on ‘SNL Korea’,” said C9 Entertainment as quoted by Soompi.

News reports reveal that Eugene, Shoo, and Bada are set to appear on the December 17 episode of the KBS pop music program “Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook” wherein they will be performing their latest single. The trio will be filming their appearance on the show on December 13.

S.E.S. made their debut in the entertainment industry in 1997 under the management of S.M. Entertainment. The group is considered as the female version of the KPop boy group legend H.O.T.

The band was not only popular in Korea but in Japan and Taiwan as well. In fact, they have released a total of 7 albums in two countries including “Reach Out”, “Prime: S.E.S. the Best”, “Be Ever Wonderful”, “Taiwan Best 1:I'm Your Girl”, and “Taiwan Best 2:I Love You”.

Before the year ends, S.E.S. will be holding their comeback concert titled “Remember, The Day”. They are also set to release their new album in January 2017.
