Former member of 2NE1 Sandara Park and "SNL Korea" cast Kim Min Kyo will make an appearance on "Battle Trip" for a special segment called "Return Match."
"Battle Trip" made the announcement of Dec. 7, stating Dara and Kim's travels in the Philippines and Thailand are scheduled to be aired in January 2017. "Round 2 of Sandara Park and Kang Seung Hyun's Philippine Dara Tour, as well as Kim Min Gyo, Im Hyung Joon, and Han Jung Soo's travels to Pattaya have been filmed," a source said as per Soompi.
The announcement continued, "These new versions will showcase popular tourist destinations that did not appear the first time."
Before Dara became a member of 2NE1, the idol was popular among Filipinos after she became a runner-up of a reality show in the Philippines, Koreaboo cited. Dara also branded the country as her second home, considering that she has lived in the Philippines for ten years.
In the Round 1 of "Battle Trip," the former 2NE1 member introduced some of the beautiful tourist spots in the Philippines like Tagbilaran City in Bohol and Calamba City in Laguna. She was even spotted at the Bonifacio Global City with Hyoni Kang.
Aside from filming for the Korean variety show in the Philippines, Dara has been going here and there for her current project in the country called "Pinoy Boyband Superstar." The idol is one of the four judges of the reality show.
2NE1's Dara, comedian Vice Ganda, singer Yeng Constantino and actor Aga Muhlach are in search for good-looking and talented guys who will later form a band. In an episode of "Pinoy Boyband Superstar," Dara was captured emotional amid announcement of 2NE1's disbandment.
The K-Pop idol even handed a letter to her fans to thank and apologize to them for the decision.
