The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has released a new more info on the beautiful yet deadly Valkyria Brunhild for the upcoming "Valkyria: Azure Revolution."

The description is discussed more by Dualshockers where Brunhild, mysterious and lovely maiden of the battlefield. She sings with her enchanting voice, but to those who would foolishly underestimate her would be the death of them. Brunhild wields a scythe in the darkness of the night and would prove to be terrifying and formidable enemy during the main storyline and normal missions. It's important for players to know how to confront this terrible and challenging foe.

Story-wise, it all began when King Claudius of the former Rushien Kindgom had his army raid the Temple of the Valkyria in the Kingdom of Jutland in order to satisfy his power-hungry desire by stealing the power of the Valkyrie. During his skirmish, the cruel king burned down everything in his path including the orphanage where the protagonist Amleth used to live and stole the "ring of the contract." Now that Claudius acquired the power of the Valkyrie, his kingdom expanded to an Empire under his iron hand.

Amleth grew up despising the mad king and swore to avenge his loss, and would do anything to stop the Claudius's army and kill the king, even if it meant engulfing the country in the flames of war.

Brunhild can sometimes appear cloaked as a god of death, but most of the time she takes it off revealing her beautiful yet deadly form. Gameplay-wise, she can deliver devastating attacks, as well as incite fear among enemy soldiers, which reduces their combat power.

The only way to combat that effectively is Princess Ophelia, who has the capability to stop the Valkyrie.

In earlier news, reports already revealed the cast for the upcoming "Valkyria: Azure Revolution." Amleth Glenkaer, the game's protagonist, will be voiced by Daisuke Ono, while Saori Hayami voices Princess Ophelia and Maaya Sakamoto will be behind the voice of Brunhild the Valkyrie.

"Valkyria: Azure Revolution" will be release in Japan on Jan. 19, 2017 for PS4 and PS Vita. There hasn't been any announcement on the western release yet.
