Fans have already wondered when Valve will actually come up with a third game in every of its series, such as "Half-Life 3," "Portal 3," "Team Fortress 3" and "Left 4 Dead 3." In the case of the multiplayer zombie shooter video game "Left 4 Dead 3," rumors have been floating around that Valve's hit co-op game might surface around next year for the consoles and PC, along with VR support.

"Left 4 Dead 3" would, of course, attempt to draw inspiration from the horror zombie thriller films and other video game like its predecessors. The game would be set in a month after the spread of the zombie epidemic, with the game being somewhat like a prequel and sequel at the same time.

According to earlier news, "Left 4 Dead 3" will still follow the same character formula of 4 main characters, three males and one female. The reported characters are 24-year old caucasian Katherine, black gangster Irvin, famous Kenpo fighter Garrett Jr. and comic book nerd Keenan.

Fans also expect that the third entry in the co-op zombie shooter will also have significant improvements in the AI especially for the zombies in the game. Rumors say that the enemies may be more responsive this time and may be tougher to escape than the previous games.

With the virtual reality (VR) platform getting back to fame nowadays, it may be possible that the next "Left for Dead" title might come with VR support for both PC and consoles. With the launch of of HTC Vive, Valve has actually shown its keen interest in possibly developing its games with VR support, as reports would like to say.

It would actually be a sort of next-level kind of experience if gamers get to see the whole world covering up their entire point-of-view and zombie hordes closing in on them, giving them a horrifying yet exciting experience.

In relation to this, with "Left 4 Dead 3" improving on the unpredictable AI Director, changing where and when you might encounter the infected, Valve is rumored to offer more variety in the gameplay thus giving better replay value than its predecessors.
