Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell is Smashbox Cosmetics' new face for its "Cover Shot: Eye Palettes." The actress certainly caught the eye of not only its fans but also the giant cosmetics company as she's trusted to promote not only one but seven new eye shadow palette collection.
The actress who has promised herself to switch her makeup a little bit more has kept true to her word. She's been out and about Tinseltown with risk taking looks. In an interview, the actress revealed that she plays a different character especially when she gets to play with makeup, People Magazine reported.
The actress also said that Smashbox is one of her on-the -go beauty brands for a long time. Her being hired as its new face is nothing less of a perfect fit according to Mitchell. The young actress further added that she's super stoked with the new palette collection but they're something she hasn't seen before.
The collection's range is varied, Allure reported. There's Metallic, which has intense foil-finish shadows and can be used to highlight cheekbones. There's Matte, which are filled with everyday velvety shades and allows the user to go with natural look or opt for the smoky eye.
There's also Golden Hour, which is inspired by Los Angeles and is a combination of shimmers and mattes that make it really flexible. Another one is Softlight, which one can also use as a highlighter but is most ideal for those who don't want to go over the top.
Then there's Bold, a rainbow like collection, which is ideal for parties and wild festivities. There's Ablaze with the warm toned shades one can only dream of. Finally there's Smoky, which, fans can take a note of, is Mitchell's favorite for her signature smoky eye.
These Smashbox Palettes are sold for $29 each and are only available at Sephora's online store. But according to Allure, the ablaze palette is already sold out as all the seven palettes are part of the Cyber Monday sale.
The collaboration is limited edition and in case fans will miss them out, Shay Mitchell's "Cover Shot: Eye Palettes" will be available again on December 15.
