"The K2" lead actor Ji Chang Wook expressed role dismay on his new web drama. "First Kiss for the Seventh Time" is an upcoming web drama featuring seven of South Korea's hottest Hallyu stars.

On Nov. 22, the "K2" actor revealed some disappointments about the role he got for his upcoming drama. "Honestly, I feel a lot of regret. The role that I most wanted was the character of the church oppa played by Lee Joon Gi," Allkpop quoted Ji as saying.

The 34-year old actor also added that there is something cool about Lee's role. Lee's character in the drama will be seen driving around a red sport car.

"First Kiss for the Seventh Time" is directed and produced by Lotte Duty Free which aims to make the Hallyu wave a core part of its marketing strategy, Korea Joongang Daily reported. The drama will feature the company's slew of Hallyu stars including Lee, Ji, Lee Min Ho, and boy group idols EXO Kai and 2PM's OK Taecyeon.

The web drama follows the romantic travails of a young woman working at a duty-free shop. Release date and where the web series will be uploaded is yet to be revealed.

Lotte Duty Free recently unveiled the web drama's trailer on a press conference at Lotte World Tower, in Jamsil, southern Seoul. Attendees in the event were officials from over seventy tourism offices in Japan and China, where the Hallyu wave led the two countries to produce the most number of tourists to Korea.

Also, eleven major entertainment companies including the "big three" - SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and YG Entertainment had inked their memoranda of agreement with Lotte Duty Free. The memoranda is about creating more content based on Hallyu and use it to develop Korea's tourism industry.
