Spider-Man will be having a villain confirmed for the upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and it's none other than the Vulture, played by Michael Keaton.

According to the Toronto Sun, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige answered the question of who the villain of the web-slinging, friendly neighborhood Spider-man would be. "We've had a wish list and most of them in the near-term are coming together," said Feige. "Cate Blanchett is playing Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. Michael Keaton's Vulture in Spider-Man is something."

It was actually hinted that Keaton will be taking up a role in Spidey's latest film in the franchise, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" but at that point it was not made clear yet of what he'll be in the film. It was even suggested back that a concept art back then showed off Tom Holland's character of Spider-man facing off a winged villain that could only labeled as the Vulture.

In an earlier article, other reports mentioned Holland already working with Marvel Studio on a potential sequel on the way. As much as he was excited about it, the young actor still kept his mouth sealed, only saying that they are "talking about the second one, who the villain is going to be, and where [they're] going."

Other than Michael Keaton's portrayal as the Vulture, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will also be having another villain joining the fray who will be the lightning-bolt shooting Shocker, played by "Fargo" star Bokeem Woodbine. Like the Vulture, Shocker also made his appearances in concept art.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" hits theaters on July 7, 2017 and will also star Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr, Donald Glover, Tony Revolori, and Tyne Daly.
