On the Nov. 10 episode of "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show," Hongki shared how close he is to Park Shin Hye and revealed something personal about the actress.
According to Allkpop, Hongki and Park have been friends since they were young. "Park Shin Hye and I are friends. We also share concerns about boys/girls," the FTISLAND member said.
Hongki went on, "We were both child actors, so we've seen each other since we were little. Sometimes we joke around and say, "You buy food this time!""
When asked if he turns to Park for dating advice, the FTISLAND revealed, "Park Shin Hye doesn't actually have much experience in dating. So she talks to me from a women's point of view. She's more mature [than me]. She also maturely responds to my life concerns."
Recently, Hongki personally confirmed he is dating Han Bo Reum, Soompi reported. The FTISLAND formally made the announcement on his radio program, "Kiss The Radio," on Wednesday.
"Some of you may have already heard the news, but I won't be lonely this winter. It is a little embarrassing. There are many people showing their support," Hongki announced.
The K-Pop idol also admitted there were times when he was hesitant to talk about the matter, thinking that he might say the wrong words and will offend other people. However, Hongki have decided to be true to his feeling and revealed his relationship with Han.
Previously, rumor has it that the pair has been seeing each other since August. However, Hongki and Han shut down the reports, claiming they are just friends.
Hongki and Han's respective agencies supported the idol's statement and said the two started out as close friends before they took their relationship to the next level.
