"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" lead actor Lee Joon Gi recently named as the most buzzworthy TV appearance. The 34-year old actor played as the fearsome fourth Prince Wang So in the series.
On Nov. 8, analytics company Good Data Corporation reported that Lee nabbed the first spot as the most buzzworthy actor on the drama scene over the past week. The fearsome fourth Prince Wang So's agency Namoo Actors revealed, "Lee has a strong presence in a lot of the public polls, thanks to the love from the general public," Soompi reported.
Further adding that, Lee is extremely touched with the news and is planning to do as many thing as he can including the Asia tour to repay the love he is receiving from the fans. Starting Dec. 3, Lee will be actively preparing for his Asia tour in Seoul.
Kicking off his Asia tour in Seoul on Dec. 3, dates for his Japan and Taiwan tour have been confirmed. However, Lee and his agency are currently still in discussion about the dates of his other tour locations.
"The fan support that Lee receives from domestic and foreign fans is incredible. His fan base has grown across all age groups and he even has a strong male fan base," according to a source from Lee's agency as quoted by Kpop Herald.
It is worth noting that Lee previously held a fan meeting event to watch the finale episode of his latest hit drama "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo." The said event took place on Nov. 1 at Lotte World Tour Super Plex G.
Despite its averaged single-digit audience rating in South Korea, "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" drew a more flattering response internationally. Back in 2008, Lee was awarded the title of "Hallyu Star" for successfully entering the Chinese movie industry.
