'Valkyria: Azure Revolution Battle Trial 2.0’ Demo for the PS4 is now free; cast members revealed

Recently Sega released a gameplay trailer for Media.Vision's "Valkyria: Azure Revolution" showing off LeGION battle system. Just recently, the game will be releasing the "Battle Trial 2.0" demo for the PS4 not just for those who given special privilege, but those who pre-registered the game.

According to Dualshockers, the "Valkyria: Azure Revolution Battle Trial 2.0"  demo was originally released for those who purchased a Japanese copy of "Valkyria Chronicles Remastered" or received a code at Tokyo Game Show at the beginning of October. However, just recently, publisher Sega has announced that the demo will be made available to those who pre-register the game before Nov. 19. Those who choose to pre-register can do so by inserting their mail address in the empty field here. This is how it looks like down below.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to those who are done with the pre-registration, and a download code for the demo will be delivered on Nov. 20. The pre-registration will also grant bonuses in the game, including DLC story chapter titled "The formation of Vanargand" that will be fully voiced.  However, content bonuses may only be unlocked in the Japanese version of "Valkyria: Azure Revolution." Players would need to also create a Japanese PSN account in order to use the code for the demo.

"Valkyria: Azure Revolution" cast revealed

Anime News Network was able to report the cast for "Valkyria: Azure Revolution." The first to be mentioned is Amleth Glenkaer, the game's protagonist (voiced by Daisuke Ono), who's the commanding officer of the Jutland Kingdom's Anti-Valkyria Unit. Next is Princess Ophelia A. Jutland of the Jutland Kingdom (voiced by Saori Hayami), the heroine of the game and the power to do magic through song. And, Maaya Sakamoto will be voicing Brunhild, a Valkyria called "The Reaper" who is subservient to the Rus Empire under the terms of the "Ring" contract.

The rest of the cast are as listed:

  • Takahiro Sakurai as Fleat Eriksen
  • Miyuki Sawashiro as Violet Sand
