"Captain America: Civil War" star Scarlett Johansson wants the Marvel Studios to make "Black Widow" spinoff movie. It seems that she is still actually willing to wear a skin-tight catsuit.

According to The Independent, "Avengers" director Joss Whedon reveals to the public that he would direct the "Black Widow" spinoff movie if he is asked. Johansson gave a minor update that if the fans wanted the spinoff enough, then it would probably become a reality.

Perhaps Johansson will get to explore that if Marvel Studios green-lights the "Black Widow" spinoff movie, as it is done for Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). She is certainly open to the idea, E! News reported.

Johansson said that Black Widow character has got a really rich origins story for "Black Widow" spinoff movie. She hinted that the story can bring back to Russia or could explore the Widow program. She further explained that the identity of who Black Widow is, where she comes from, and where she is part of could really uncover.

Johansson went on to say that discussions are still ongoing with the superhero Marvel Studios with regards the idea of "Black Widow" spinoff movie but will have to happen sooner rather than later. She may likely retire from the Black Widow role at some time in the near future.

To date, Johansson has appeared in five Marvel movies. She made her debut as Black Widow, also known as Natasha Romanova, in "Iron Man 2" (2010) directed by Jon Favreau. She has proven increasingly popular across "The Avengers" (2012), "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" (2014), "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015), and this year's "Captain America: Civil War."

Whether the "Black Widow" spinoff movie will be in reality or not, there are still two more upcoming "Avengers" films that Johansson will no doubt star in.
