International K-Pop star G-Dragon has announced that he is working on a collaborative project with Pharrell Williams. The Big Bang member made the announcement on his social media accounts.

On October 30, G-Dragon shared photos of him with the "Happy" singer to tease of their upcoming collaboration, Koreaboo reported. Working together is a long time coming for both G-Dragon and Pharrell. In recall, Pharrell gave props to G-Dragon on Twitter in 2013, where he described the K-Pop star as an "amazing talent." He also praised Korean art, calling it "vast and next level."

On his part, G-Dragon is a major fan of the Grammy Award-winning artist not just for his music, but also for his sense of style. In an interview with Complex magazine, G-Dragon said, "I wouldn't say Pharrell's a fashionista, but I've always liked him. As a kid, I've always looked up to his style. Even now, I just think he's just so cool."

This isn't G-Dragon's first collaborative project with a global music icon. He previously released singles together with Diplo and Skrillex, to name a few. He was also featured on Pixie Lott's "Dancing on My Own," Major Lazer's "Bubble Butt" and Baauer's "Temple." He also reportedly recorded a song with Justin Bieber, but it has not yet been released.

Meanwhile, Pharrell just recently release new tracks titled "Runnin" and "Surrender." "Runnin" is written as a soundtrack for the upcoming film "Hidden Figures." It speaks of the fearlessness of female trio Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson and Dorothy Vaughan-Africa-American mathematicians whose calculations were fundamental to the early NASA missions such as the Apollo 11.

"Surrender" is also part of the "Hidden Figures" soundtrack and features singer Lalah Hathaway.

"Hidden Figures" is a biopic starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Jannelle Janelle Monáe. The movie hits theaters on Dec. 25, 2016.
