There will be a crossover happening between One Piece and Dragon Ball Z. This is made possible as Bandai Namco features the two games in a crossover that will run from October 23 up to November 24. The event is called Ultimate Crossover.
Crossover means that different characters from each game will show in the other. Gamers can look forward to seeing Frieza as a boss battle in One Piece Treasure Cruise. One Piece's Doflamingo will do the same in Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle.
Gamezebo reported that upon logging in the Ultimate Crossover, gamers of One Piece Treasure Cruise will be rewarded with a special four-star Monkey. D. Luffy Gum-Gum Gatling Gun character and one Rainbow Gem every day. Super Saiyan Goku will be the given character along with an extra Dragon Stone for playing every day as well.
Additionally, great rewards will be received by battling the crossover bosses in an even that will pilot until November 2. Players from both games can attack Frieza and Doflamingo to acquire points toward a current overall total and unlock nine diverse levels of rewards for gamers in both games. Everyone's progress can be tracked on the Ultimate Crossover website.
As more players, participate in the event, their collective activity will go towards higher levels for the rewards program, with each level equivalent to specific points total and garner great rewards for the players who logged in during the campaign. Once the 9th level is reached, rewards will undo the highest difficulty level for the special phase.
There will be loads of rewards including nine characters for both games. For the rewards to be earned gamers must collect points and approach the point targets both in One Piece Treasure Cruise and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle. Moreover, big rewards can be garnered depending on the accumulated points, according to Bandai Namco.
One Piece Treasure Cruise is a Role-Playing Game (RPG) that features One Piece characters and defies players to create the strongest crew, bring down the opponents and finish quests. Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle carries the well-known Dragon Ball Z Saga to mobile platforms with favorite characters, battles that are full of action, and board game-style gameplay.
